Looking very serious, Vanessa was seen arriving to United Methodist Church in Hollywood today (July 28th).

Wearing grey top, blue trousers, and a multi-colored scarf, V picked up some stuff from inside her car and went into the church to a class.

Zac Efron And Vanessa Hudgens Call Release-Date Shuffle ‘Disappointing’
Efron’s ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ took over the weekend originally held by Hudgens’ ‘Beastly.’

It goes without saying that the inner workings of the film business are a mystery to most of those on the outside looking in. Sometimes, even the individuals closest to the projects are left in the dark — particularly with regard to movie release dates.

Such is the case with Zac Efron’s “Charlie St. Cloud” moving into the release date previously held by girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens’ “Beastly.” When MTV News caught up with Efron to talk about “St. Cloud,” we asked him what he thought of his film taking over the “Beastly” weekend.

“It was disappointing,” Efron said. “It was hard. I actually had to break the news to her. I was like, ‘I think we are moving on to your date.’ … She took it really well, but it’s hard when that kind of stuff happens. We don’t, as actors, have any control over it, so we’ll see. I mean, hopefully it will work out for the best. ‘Beastly’ is a great movie, and when it does come out, people are absolutely going to love it.”

In talking to MTV News about her film being pushed to March 2011, Hudgens was equally diplomatic. “I just didn’t feel right about us having movies coming out on the same day,” she said. “It’s just not right.”

It could have been fun for a little friendly competition, though. “True,” Hudgens admitted, “but, I don’t know, I just don’t think it’s fair to either of us.”

She added that the delay has given filmmakers the time to perfect the film. “We’re actually going to be doing some re-shoots and changing it up a bit, so hopefully we’ll make it that much better.”

Vanessa is enjoying her early June. On June 8th, V was spotted having dinner with her boyfriend, Zac Efron at Boa Restaurant. They were photographed when they were leaving the place. V was driving and Zac was by her side, drinking something.

On June 11th, Vanessa attended the “World Of Color” Premiere at Disneyland. V was photographed with Mickey, Minnie and Donald. She gave Mickey Mouse a smooch while posed for pictures at the new water-and-light show at the popular theme park. Stella and Gina, V’s mom and sister, were also there.

According to an official note from CBS, by Facebook, Beastly was postponed and will be on the big screen only on March 18th2011. What do you guys think about it? What do you prefer: July 30th, 2010 with Zac’s movie, Charlie St. Cloud or March 18th, 2011?

Vanessa Hudgens: Breakin’ the Law!

She may come off as a squeaky clean good girl, but even Vanessa Hudgens has a rebellious streak to her personality.

The “High School Musical” babe was spotted out and about in Los Angeles yesterday (May 27) and surprisingly she did a little illegal parking.

Rather than using a regular parking spot for her swanky Audi convertible, Miss Hudgens opted for a handicapped reserved space.

To avoid some troubles with the date of Beastly release and Charlie St. Cloud release, CBS Films decided to cancel the release on July 30. There’s no new date yet. Let’s wait.

A new Beastly movie still was published today. It’s so cute!

The movie will be released on July 30 in USA and cost almost $ 20 million dolars. On Facebook, the movie is one of the 20 movies with more fans.

Galaxy Magazine met Vanessa and her Beastly co-star, Alex Pettyfer. The Beastly’s stars gave an interview and some parts were published on Galaxie Blog. We’re waiting for more, but you can read what we already have now:

LOS ANGELES: Galaxie met High School Musical sweetheart Vanessa Hudgens and that bloke from Stormbreakers, yep Alex Pettyfer is his name, in the flesh today.

The two beauties, who are starring in the film Beastly, were in town to promote the film, which is a modern retelling of Beauty & The Beast. The film also stars Peter Krause (Six Feet Under), Neil Patrick Harris and Mary Kate Olsen as a witch who curses Alex’s character with disfigurement when the vain and arrogant lad crosses her. (Boys, learn a lesson here please). The spell will only be broken if he finds someone who’ll love him in spite of his hideous looks. Enter Lindy (Vanessa Hudgens), an outcast herself who makes up her own mind on what beauty is.

Galaxie met Alex first. The blond bloke was chatty and hyper and blushed when he was bombarded with questions about his good looks. He said, “You guys are making me shy. Enough with the beautiful questions. Stop here.” While he didn’t deny that it is important to look your best he explained, “You can be with a beautiful person but you can get bored after two days, you know what I mean?” 

Then in walked Vanessa Hudgens in Jimmy Choos and wearing a pastel pink dress from, she was proud to say, giggling, “Topshop.” Vanessa looked gorgeous, with her dark, dark tresses, pink lipstick and pink blusher but  best of all, her striking eye makeup – silver eye shadow and black eyeliner that compliments her dark hair. Sorry folks, no pictures were allowed.

In the 20-minute or so interview, Vanessa a nature lover, said that “Beautiful to me is something raw. Someone who is confident and true to himself.” But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t love to play dress up. Vanessa said that she has a weakness for shoes and had to extend her closet to make room for her growing collection of shoes.

Here’s a new movie that may take your mind away from the Bella-Edward love team—even for just a moment. Beastly is coming to theaters this July, and I’m ecstatic as ever. Here are seven reasons why:

1. It gives a modern-day take on my favorite fairytale, Beauty and the Beast. The producers of Beastly have revealed that this movie is actually based on the 2007 book of sci-fi writer Alex Flinn, but the plot is obviously influenced by the classic fairytale, sans the beast’s heavy fur.

2. Vanessa Hudgens finally ditches the bubblegum mold for a more mature role. She plays the role of Lindy, a modern-day Belle who goes for “substance over style.” There will be no high school sing-and-dance routines this time, thank goodness.

3. British actor Alex Pettyfer will make you swoon, trust me. This chiseled, handsome 20-year-old has acted in British films in the past, but I believe his lead role in Beastly will make him a Hollywood A-lister in no time. I’d be worried if I were you, Robert Pattinson!

4. Mary-Kate Olsen is back! She finally goes back to the big screen, and this time she isn’t starring as the cutie patootie twin in a self-produced movie. In Beastly, she plays the “witch” Kendra who puts a spell on the self-centered school hottie Kyle, played by Alex Pettyfer.

5. Neil Patrick Harris is part of this teen flick! C’mon, you know that NPH is the man and anything he says is most likely true! “Usually these teen movies are full of masturbation jokes,” he told MTV. “But this is a very classy movie, actually. It looks great. I think the performances are strong. I think it’s better than your average teen film.” NPH plays the blind tutor who was hired by Kyle’s father as an attempt to keep his beastly son hidden from the world.

6. The special effects and makeup look realistic. Since the beast isn’t going for the traditional furry animal look, the producers turned Kyle into a heavily tattooed and scarred dude to fit the contemporary New York setting. He actually looks more like a body artist gone overboard.

7. Although the storyline is predictable (of course you know that Kyle is going to be shirtless and oozing with hotness and “beauty” at the end of the movie!), the producers and cast are keeping certain details of the film under wraps. For example, who is playing Kyle’s father? Will there be cameos from other teen stars? Which rock acts are part of the soundtrack? Will they dance the waltz in a royal ball? The suspense is killing me!
