First Vanity Fair Scan!

Yeah! The first Vanity Fair Scan was published! If you’re from USA, you can get your issue going to the newspaper stand on Thursday, January 21.

Additional Information: Vanessa didn’t go to PCA yesterday, but her boyfriend Zac Efron is confirmed to go to Golden Globes on Sunday, Jan 17. Maybe Vanessa will go with him. Let’s wait for more information.

Having starred as adorableness personified in High School Musical 1, 2, and 3, Hudgens has had a crash course in celebrity lunacy. The first time the paparazzi wanted her picture, “it was like, Oh, my God! No way! So cool,” she says. “The second day it happens, it’s like, Never mind. Maybe it’s not as cool as I thought it’s going to be.” Is it any wonder the Disney queen has decided to go a little edgier? Next up is Beastly, a modern-day take on Beauty and the Beast, and Sucker Punch, which director Zack Snyder has described as “Alice in Wonderland with machine guns.” As if girls didn’t have enough reasons to envy her, she’s dating her former co-star Zac Efron. Vanessa is in Vanity Fair’s ‘Women to Watch Out For’ Feature. She talked to the magazine about loads of things, and you can see some below:

On working on ‘Sucker Punch’: “I got thrown into this craziness of fight training with the guys who trained everybody for 300. I get paid to be in great shape, so I’m having a blast.”

On breaking out of her shell: “I started off as a super-shy girl, extremely hesitant. Now I’m really growing into my own person. I can actually take care of myself, which my mom thought would never happen.”

On being number one on the paparazzi’s radar: “It was like, ‘Oh, my God! No way! So cool.’ The second day it happens, it’s like, Never mind. Maybe it’s not as cool as I thought it’s going to be.”

It’s the February Vanity Fair Issue and hits shelves on Thursday, January 21.

People’s Special December issue is about the Best of 2009. We can see Zac, Vanessa and the Wildcats as Sims. They’re the ‘Tween Idols’. It was chosen by Sims’ Creators.

Why doubt? Vanessa is indeed the hottest and People Magazine Australia seems to agree to this. They have recently ranked Vanessa Hudgens as the Hottest Young Star under the age of 25 followed by Twilight star Robert Pattinson and then Lindsay Lohan on third, Zac Efron following on the fourth and with Miley Cyrus at the fifth ranking. 20 other hot young stars are listed as well including Taylor Lautner, Taylor Swift, Ed Westwick, Megan Fox and Selena Gomez. #19. Modern Day Beauty: Vanessa Hudgens

Born: December 14, 1988

It was a bit quiet on the Vanessa Hudgens front this year. All we saw of her was in Bandslam which didn’t do as well as anticipated, but critics recognised the stellar job our girl V did as the intense Sa5m, and attributed her as the reason why the film was a lot more bearable than it would have been. Despite the lack of Vanessa projects available to fans in 2009, her fanbase still kept the faith and were dedicated enough to vote Vanessa into the top 30!

What’s Next:We may have only seen Vanessa in one film onscreen this year, but she did spend the year filming projects for the future. Next July, fans can catch Vanessa in the much anticipated modern day version of Beauty and the Beast in Beastly, alongside Alex Pettyfer. While in 2011, Sucker Punch - which has been described as “Alice in Wonderland with machine guns – will be released and fans can check Vanessa out in that, playing the role of Blondie.
