Vanessa attended the Details Magazine Party yesterday (August 10th) with Zac Efron. He is the cover of the September issue.

The event was held at a private residence in Los Angeles. Zac and Vanessa were all dressed up in matching black outfits; V was wearing a Helmut Lang crochet-back knit dress.

Their friends, like Sterling Knight, Leslie Mann, Michelle Trachtenberg and Matthew Morrison were there too.

Why doesn’t Zac date more girls? “Bathe in girls? Yeah, everyone tells me that. I think a lot of guys would enjoy that. But I’m not really like that. Believe me, I rack my brain thinking, ‘Why am I not out there playing the field?’ One of my buddies was like, ‘You have no idea what’s going on right now. You’re peaking on Ecstasy and you’re watching TV.’ But it’s not in my heart.”

On whether his relationship with Vanessa is fake because he’s gay: “That’s just f**king insane. I’ve never even heard of that happening. I don’t even know who I would have been around who would have thought that was even a good idea. It would have been so much easier to call it off a long time ago. They want you to believe it, and they hope they’ll influence you to break up by making you seem insane for being in it. And then you’ll play the field, and then they can write about you a s**tload and speculate about everything. Right now they know exactly what’s going on and it’s not very interesting and there’s no money to be made on it. It’s exactly how it should be. It’s real.”

Just Jared interviewed Vanessa and Jena Malone at Comic-Con and JJ took exclusive photos of them.

Vanessa talked about her character, Bloundie: “I really did enjoy [the machine guns] and hope to continue to do. She is a patient in the mental institute and is kinda a follower you know, she’s just trying to get by and really plays out I think the vulnerability and the one that’s a bit more timid to the whole plan of escape.”

She also talked about what the whole process of the film was for her: “Amazing, I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. It’s so much fun, it’s almost like therapy and to blow off some steam I go and shoot my saw. It’s exhilarating its such an adrenaline rush its unlike anything I’ve ever done”

Vanessa attended the Warner Bros. Panel at Comic-Con 2010 to present her new movie, Sucker Punch.

The event was held at San Diego Convention Center this afternoon (July 24th) and besides Vanessa, Zack Snyder, Emily Browning, Jena Malone, Jamie Chung and Carla Gugino attended the event to promote their movie.

Vanessa was gorgeous wearing a Black Halo dress and said “It was amazing. I do this because I do projects I’m passionate about. I heard about Sucker Punch and thought ‘This sounds like the coolest movie ever, but there’s no way Zack will give me the part.’ I auditioned twice, and got it!”.

After the screening of the trailer, that will be released on the web only tuesday, the critics were amazing! About the rumor that Sucker Punch would be in 3D, Zack Snyder cleared it up “It’s not going to be in 3-D. I wanted it to be in 3-D, and we talked a lot about it, and we’ve looked at a lot of tests. None of us want to get kicked in the knees because our 3-D is crappy.”

Vanessa attended the ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ LA Premiere last night (July 20th) at Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, LA. She was supporting her boyfriend, Zac Efron in his new movie. The couple was amazing and they were smiling at eachother all the time. V was gorgeous wearing a Reem Acra dress, Jimmy Choo shoes and Ferragamo bag.

Zac Efron And Vanessa Hudgens Call Release-Date Shuffle ‘Disappointing’
Efron’s ‘Charlie St. Cloud’ took over the weekend originally held by Hudgens’ ‘Beastly.’

It goes without saying that the inner workings of the film business are a mystery to most of those on the outside looking in. Sometimes, even the individuals closest to the projects are left in the dark — particularly with regard to movie release dates.

Such is the case with Zac Efron’s “Charlie St. Cloud” moving into the release date previously held by girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens’ “Beastly.” When MTV News caught up with Efron to talk about “St. Cloud,” we asked him what he thought of his film taking over the “Beastly” weekend.

“It was disappointing,” Efron said. “It was hard. I actually had to break the news to her. I was like, ‘I think we are moving on to your date.’ … She took it really well, but it’s hard when that kind of stuff happens. We don’t, as actors, have any control over it, so we’ll see. I mean, hopefully it will work out for the best. ‘Beastly’ is a great movie, and when it does come out, people are absolutely going to love it.”

In talking to MTV News about her film being pushed to March 2011, Hudgens was equally diplomatic. “I just didn’t feel right about us having movies coming out on the same day,” she said. “It’s just not right.”

It could have been fun for a little friendly competition, though. “True,” Hudgens admitted, “but, I don’t know, I just don’t think it’s fair to either of us.”

She added that the delay has given filmmakers the time to perfect the film. “We’re actually going to be doing some re-shoots and changing it up a bit, so hopefully we’ll make it that much better.”

Vanessa Hudgens Says ‘Sucker Punch’ Would Be ‘So Badass’ In 3-D
‘Having my tomahawk fly towards your face, [it would be] just too cool,’ she tells MTV News of Zack Snyder flick.

Vanessa Hudgens’ upcoming film roles are definite departures from her squeaky-clean work in “High School Musical” — particularly in the upcoming action-thriller “Sucker Punch,” directed by “300″ helmer Zack Snyder.

When MTV News recently caught up with the young star, she revealed just how different the role really is. Hint: She’s traded singing for slinging bullets.

Although the film will present at Comic-Con this weekend, Hudgens said it is far from completion. “It’s probably, definitely not done,” she said. “There’s so much CGI in it, it’s ridiculous.”

Regarding the film joining in on the popular 3-D trend, Hudgens was enthusiastic about “Sucker Punch” going that route. “It would be so badass,” she said. “It’s already really badass, but having it in 3-D … having my tomahawk fly towards your face, [it would be] just too cool, you know?”

Speaking of badass, Hudgens continued to cite the gun-slinging as her favorite aspect of filming.

“Shooting a .50-cal [machine gun], there’s nothing like it,” she said with a smile. Hudgens added that she and her female castmates (including Jena Malone, Abbie Cornish and Emily Browning) found a new sense of empowerment with their gun-wielding skills. “I think all of us girls loved it so much. We’re all strong individuals, and when you give us a gun … you kind of unleash something.”

Hudgens is also excited for fans to see a sneak peek of footage, which will premiere at Comic-Con in San Diego. “I’m going for the first time, and I’m so excited!” she exclaimed. “I want to go dress up in a mask or paint my face so I can walk around in the crowd.”

Most of all, Hudgens can’t wait to see the first clip from the film, which is slated to premiere Saturday. “I’m really excited [for fans to see it]. There’s this beast that’s been unleashed with all of this. … I’m a lot tougher, stronger, badass — I don’t want to sound cocky, but it’s cool.”

Always up to help, Vanessa hit the Malibu Beach, LA yesterday (July 17th) with Hayden Panettiere to a Neutrogena charitable event.

The two Neutrogena brand ambassadors announced the 2010 Neutrogena Wave For Change. That’s how it works: Throughout the summer — from July 17th through August 23rd, Neutrogena will donate $1 for every Wave Sonic and Pink Grapefruit wash sold, giving up to $200,000 to GlobalGiving who will distribute funds to environmental, educational and disaster relief charities. To determine how the money raised is divided between these areas, Neutrogena fans can take the Wave for Change quiz on Neutrogena’s Facebook page.

Vanessa looked amazing wearing a Missoni dress and smiled all the time. Hayden said “Often people want to participate, but they don’t know how so the fact Neutrogena is opening the door and kids are getting to be a part of something and help the world is an amazing thing to be a part of” and Vanessa seconded the feeling and told “It’s so cool that Neutrogena is letting the fans go to Neutrogena’s Facebook page to take a quiz to determine how the money raised for charity is being distributed. By taking a few minutes to join in, everyone can make a big difference in the world.”

According to some Twitter users, Zac and Vanessa went to Universal Studios CityWalk in Hollywood and watched to The BeachGirl5 Concert last night , July 10th.

Universal CityWalk is full of concerts to enjoy this summer. Every weekend they offer a summer music series featuring an “Always Unexpected” mix of non-stop live entertainment, popular celebrity bands, battle of the bands showcases and energetic Latin music nights.

The spotlight last night was for The BeachGirl5 (The band that V went to the shootings of their new video) with the former Pussycat Doll, Carmit Bachar.
