Hey! I’m a girl from the Netherlands and I totally love the album! It’s not in stores here yet, but when it is, I’ll run to the music store like SO FAST! But that’s not the reason why I’m writing this comment: When I listend to “Let Go”, it sounded so much like a song I knew.. So I was looking on the internet and found a song. Guess what, it was called Let Go. The group was called Raffish (Winners of a tv-show called POPSTARS THE RIVALS here in Holland.) It could be anything so I downloaded it, and it was EXACTLY the same song!So, is it a cover? I don’t think Vanessa covered it from Raffish, cause the group is not that famous or anything.. I’m so curious now, I just want to know who wrote the original!

mm ‘Let Go’ isn’t a very uncommen song name. I’m sure plenty of songs have that name/something like it. For example—Ashley Parker Angel has one called Let U Go…But Vanessa’s song is different and I love it.

I bought the cd for my kids, and I was expecting bubblegum on the entire cd.

BOY!, WAS I WRONG!!!!

Baby come back is ok, but there are much better, more complex songs on the cd. The second song is a million miles better than Baby Come Back. So is number 3, 4, and probably two or three other songs on the cd. Looks like her record company is pushing Baby Come Back because it has name recognition, but a few more charts like some of the other songs on the album, and she will be destined to be collecting quite a few grammys.

She has a Janet Jackson/Bangles sound going on.
A little more edge and she will be really hot!

Sometimes songwriters/producers shop around the same song to multiple artists and they each record their own version. For instance, the song “Cinderella” was recorded by i5, Play, and The Cheetah Girls. That is probably the case with “Let Go” as well. =)

I love how your so different to Gabriella - although you did an excellent portayal of her. I like how on your album, some of the tracks, like ‘Afraid’ and ‘Whatever Will Be’ still have a kind of Gabriella-vibe to them.
